Please note the below and attached information regarding the upcoming Field Hockey Victoria Annual General Meeting.

What: Field Hockey Victoria AGM
When: Monday, January 23, 2017
Time: 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Where: Pacific Sport Board Room at Commonwealth Pool (4636 Elk Lake Drive) ~ Access is via the Island Swimming office entrance on the south side of the main building.

Voting structure reminder:
- Vancouver Island Ladies Field Hockey Association: 2 Votes
- Vancouver Field Hockey Association: 2 Votes
- Victoria Junior Field Hockey Association: 2 Votes
- South Island Field Hockey Umpires’ Association: 1 Vote

All members of the above associations plus others with interest in field hockey in Victoria are welcome to attend.

It is time to pass on your valuable time and experience to the next generation!

This year’s league starts April 7 (boys) and April 8 (girls) and runs to June 22. Don’t worry you are allowed to have other commitments and go on holidays. We will shuffle coaches around to meet YOUR flexibility and schedule! We still want your commitment so IF you are event the slightest bit interested please go to the below link to sign up now!

Here are the commitments and age groups:

KINDIES (Boys & Girls Age 5) : Sundays 10:00-11:00 am

GIRLS
Under 7: Sundays 10:00-11:00 am
Under 9: Sundays 11:15-12:15 pm
Under 11: Sundays 12:30-1:45 pm
Under 13: Sundays 2:00-3:00 pm and 3:15-4:15 pm & Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 pm or 7:30-8:30pm
Under 15 / Under 18: Saturdays 12:30-1:30 pm and 1:45-2:45pm & Thursdays 6:15-7:15 pm or 7:30-8:30 pm

BOYS
Under 8: Saturdays 9-10 am
Under 10: Saturdays 9-10:15 am
Under 13: Saturdays 10:15-11:15 am & Tuesdays 6:15-7:15 pm
Under 15 / Under 18: Saturdays 11:15-12:15 pm & Tuesdays 6:15-7:15 pm

There will be a Coaches Meeting on March 13th at UVIC in the McKinnnon Building. It will be run in two sessions:

Kindies / Under 7 / Under 9 / Under 11 Coaches Meeting will run from 6:30-8:00 pm (McKinnnon Room 155)
Under 13 & Under 15 Coaches Meeting will run from 8:00-9:00 pm (McKinnon Room 155)

Note: A Master Coach will typically be at all of your sessions to help you out and guide you and help YOU learn! ALSO EVERY session comes with a practice plan that every team will follow each week! SO, all we need from you is your time and commitment and if you aren’t entirely sure yet – just sign up online and we can be in touch closer to April!
