2020 FHBC Fundamentals Coaching Course - FREE Course

In this course you will learn the basics of how to deliver safe, fun and effective practice sessions. You will be learning how to incorporate fundamental movement skills and review core techniques, along with an introduction to tactics.

This course is intended for coaches that are working with Under 12 age groups, parent volunteer coaches who are new to coaching and/or to the game of field hockey, and Under 18 players who have an interest in coaching in the Junior League.

Dates (MUST attend both sessions):

Wednesday March 4th, 2020 – Classroom theory session 6-9pm. McKinnon Gym Room 155

Sunday March 8th, 2020 – Practical session 2-5pm Turf Field #3
