We’re almost at the end of our Junior League season – so if you’re looking for MORE FIELD HOCKEY, take a look below:

Friday June 21, 5:30 – 7:00 – Canadian Mens’ Team Skills and Demo Session – This is an amazing opportunity for kids of all ages to see just how far their field hockey skills can take them! Join us at UVIC for this fundraiser (suggested donation $25, online) to help get the Men’s National Team on their way to the 2016 Olympics! More information here

July – Mondays and Thursdays, 5:45 – 7:00 – Wildcats Camp – Show your support for our Women’s Premier Team and master key field hockey skills at this camp for boys and girls, aged 11 – 14. $80, payable by cheque at first session. More information here

August 12-16, 1:00 – 4:00 – Vikes Summer Camp – The Vikes are pleased to offer once again their popular and fun Field Hockey Summer Camp for kids aged 8 – 12. Train with the Vikes and have fun at this afternoon camp! More information here

September – March, Sundays 3:30 – 5:00 (ages 8 – 11), Sundays 5:00 – 6:30 (ages 12 – 18) – Rising Stars – This skills-based training for girls is an great way to meet new friends, gain incredible stick skills, and keep your field hockey going through the winter. More information here

September – March – Ladies’ League (girls age 14 and up) – The Vancouver Island Ladies’ Field Hockey Association organizes winter league club play for all women aged 14 and up in the South Island area. Some clubs offer weekly practices, and there are regular weekend games. For more information, or to be placed with a club, please contact alilee05@gmail.com.

September – March – Men’s League (boys age 15 and up) – The Vancouver Island Field Hockey Association offers weekly league play for men aged 15 and up. For more information, please contact athwal411@hotmail.com

The Canadian men’s field hockey team is venturing across the pond to host a one and a half our skills clinic and demonstration for the field hockey youth in Victoria.

The squad will be at UVic’s field hockey pitch on Friday, June 21 from 5:30-7:00 pm to run their clinic and demo session. Players, parents and interested fans and coaches are all encouraged to attend for a suggested minimum donation of $25. No registration is required.
